Yohogania, Monongalia & Ohio for four hundred acres land in this county on Montour’s Run to
include his settlement made in the year 1773. Which entry & "
The above is a draught of a tract of land situate on the waters of Montuirs Run called Coal, containing four hundred and twenty obl acres (423a strict) surveyed April the thirteenth 1785 in pursuance of the herein anex’d certificate-
We the commissioners for adjusting claims to unpatented lands in the counties of Monongalea, Yohogania and Ohio do hereby certify that John Meeks is entitled to four hundred acres of land in the County of Yohogania on Montuirs Run to include his actual settlement made in the year one thousand seven hundred and seventy three also a right to preemption to one thousand acres adjoining thereto.

The above is a tract of land situate on the waters of Montuirs Run called Garden containing four (416 acres) hundred and sixteen acres two road and twenty nine perches surveyed April the 12th 1785 in pursuance of the herein anex’d certificate-
We the commissioners for adjusting claims to unpatented lands in the counties of Monongalia, Yohogania and Ohio do hereby certify that Joshua Meeks is entitled to four hundred acres of land in the County of Yohogania on Montuirs Run to include his actual settlement made in the year one thousand seven hundred and seventy four also a right to preemption to four hundred acres adjoining thereto.
