But he appears to be living with his sister, Bertha. The 1930 census has him living with his mother. The 1940 census has him listed as the son-in-law of John Perego. An apparent wife is Hazel Meek age 42 listed as John Perego's daughter. Harold is listed at age 22.

100. Harold E. Meeks was born 27 Apr 1917 according to the Social Security Death Index. He died Apr 1968. He lived in Monticello, IA.

6. Jacob H. Meeks was born about 1854 in Iowa. He died in 1922. He married Sybilla Josephine Bixler 20 Sep 1883 in Jones Co., IA. She was born about 1864. She died in 1923. The marriage record names his parents (J. H. Meek=Sybilla J. Bixler). They were listed in the 1885-1920 census of Fairview TPW, Jones Co., IA.
