113. Maria Meek was born 12 Aug 1805. She married Malon Melon.
114. Isaac Newton Meek was born 4 Jun 1807. He died 24 Jul 1892 in Kinmumdy, IL. He married (1) Margaret Cady. Some sources claim that he married Virginia Shankland. However, this seems unlikely.
It is not clear if the following information refers to the same Isaac N. Meek.
although early family genealogies say he died in Kinmundy, IL.
He married Sarah ______ before 1850. Her Surname was Foster according to J. W. Meek. He may be the I. N. Meek age 43 in the 1850 census of Carroll Co., OH with wife S. age 29. Occupation Chair Maker. Children E. (Fe age 17), Jno, M. age 15, M. (Fe age 13), W. H. (Male age 11), and M. (fe age 8). Isaac N. Meek age 52 was listed in the 1860 census of Flora PO, Clay Co., IL with wife Sarah age 37 and children John age 25, William age 20 and Mary age 17. Occupation Teacher. Isaac Meek age 63 Ohio was listed in the 1870 census of Marion County living with Charles Lee. Occupation Teacher. Living nearby was Lilly M. Meek age 23 Illinois living with Julius King and wife Sarah. It is believed that he is also listed in the 1870 census of Clay County with his son John although the age is incorrect.

Susan is listed in the 1900-1920 censuses of Clay Co., IL. Kneff Cemetery records list John, James and William as "son of S.R. & J." as well as Bessie. Charles is listed in the census records.
