He died on 4 Sep 1839 in Greenfield, IN. He moved with parents to Pennsylvania and later to Henry Co., KY about 1788. He was a probate judge in Wayne Co., IN. He moved to Hancock Co., IN in 1827 where he was also a probate judge.

He married Mary Jane Cornwell on 8 Jan 1795 in Shelby Co., KY according to marriage abstracts. Robert Erwin signed the bond. Jeremiah Meek and Mary Jane Cornwell had the following children:

She was born 23 Sep 1829 Mason Co., KY. She died 4 Feb 1911 in Sedgewick Co., KS.
