It is believed that the family was in Greenbrier Co., VA at this time but also moved to Gallia Co., OH that same year. He is listed in the 1830 census of Gallia Co., OH with one son under 5 and one daughter 5-10. He is listed in the 1840 census of McLeen Co., IL (Later Woodford County). He died about 1848 according to probate records. All children are mentioned in the probate record. David Allison is gaurdian for minor children.

He married Francis Warnock on 1 Apr 1828 in Gallia Co., OH. She was born between 1800-1810 in Virginia. George Allison and Francis Warnock had the following children:

She married Isaac Newton Mahaffey in 1854 in Woodford Co., IL. He had moved there with his parents in 1853. He was born 18 May 1832 in Union Co., OH. He died 1 Sep 1907 in Nuckolls Co., NE. They moved to Cherokee Co., IA in 1855. They moved to Ray Co., MO in 1869. They are reported in the 1870 census of Ray Co., MO. He married (2) Mary C. Mizner 14 Oct 1872 in Caldwell Co., MO. She died 6 Apr 1931.

Eliza came to Hardin Co., IA in 1853 after the death of her parents according to her obituary. She married James Robert Payne Apr 1866. He died 27 Aug 1872 in Ray Co., MO as a results of wounds recieved in the Civil War. After James died Eliza moved to Boone, IA. In 1902 she moved to Canby Minnesota and resided with her daughter.
- 251. Charles Wilbur Payne was born 5 Jan 1867 in Boone, IA. He died 8 Jun 1927 in Canby, MN.

Probate 10 Jan 1850 names heirs David, Nancy, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Margaret, Mariah and Eliza as children of George Allison.
Probate 7 Apr 1851 appoint David Allison and John Moore guardians for Elizabeth, Charlotte, Isaac M., Margaret and Eliza (Born after 1830). It appears that John Moore has left the state.
Guardianship papers 1 Nov 1852 name William P. Attebery guardian of Charlotte, Isaac M., Margaret and Eliza Jane. Also gives DOB for all but Eliza.
