3. Joshua Meek was born about 1781 in Westmoreland Co., PA. He died on 3 Sep 1856. He moved with parents to Henry Co., KY. He is mentioned in his father's will, where he received the 100 acres. He sold this land on January 12, 1807, and moved to Wayne Co., IN with other members of the family. He purchased a farm there June 17, 1813. He appears in the 1850 census of Boston TWP, Wayne Co., IN. He was buried in Elkhorn Cemetery, SW of Richmond, IN.

He married Jane W. Galbreath 21 Sep 1818 in Henry Co., KY. She was born about 1795. She died on 19 May 1886 in Wayne Co., IN. Her father was William Galbreath. She married (1) Henry Perkins 3 Feb 1810 in Henry Co., KY.

58. Lucy L. Meek was born in Wayne Co., IN. Moved to Indianapolis, IN, and was living at time of settlement of her father's estate in 1856. She married J. N. Nicholson 29 Feb 1944 in Richmond, IN. (Abstract give name as John H. Nicholson.)
